The short version: this site sets no profiling cookies and runs no analytics. That is why you will not find a consent banner anywhere.

01What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a site stores in your browser to remember something from one page to the next: a preference, a login session or — the controversial case — your browsing habits, for advertising. Alongside cookies there are equivalent technologies, such as local storage and browser fingerprinting.
02The cookies this site uses
None. The pages are static: the site sets no cookies of its own, uses neither local storage nor any other form of storage on your device, and assigns no identifier to recognise you between visits.
The hosting infrastructure may use strictly necessary technical cookies to deliver the pages and keep them secure, for example to balance traffic or block abusive requests. These fall under the exemption in Art. 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive and therefore need no consent.
03Your language choice
The language is not stored in a cookie: it is part of the page address (/it and /en). The first time you land on the root of the site it is guessed once from the Accept-Language header your browser sends with the request, with nothing stored on your device.
04Third-party cookies
As long as you stay on these pages no third party receives your data: we embed no videos, maps or social widgets, and no external content is loaded inside the site. Some links do lead elsewhere, and from that point the destination site's rules apply:
- GitHub, when you download the app or open the source code
- Ko-fi, when you open the voluntary contributions page
05Why there is no cookie banner
Consent is only required for non-technical cookies. Since there are none here, a banner would be one extra click for no benefit: we would rather spell it all out on this page.
06Managing cookies in your browser
You can still block or delete cookies for any site from your browser settings. On this site blocking them changes nothing: everything, simulator included, keeps working.
07Updates and contact
